At Cacharel Friesian Horses we specialise in producing Main Studbook Friesian Horses of exceptional quality and breeding.

A peek into the Cacharel Stable:

   Django of Cacharel Ster Stallion (Pike x Jakob) bred by Cacharel Friesians, owned by Tashkent Friesians.

Django successfully competes in PSG Level Dressage and was the first Australian bred Friesian stallion to be awarded the coveted 'Ster' predicate by the KFPS in 2006. Django has his own Facebook page and you can visit him by following the link at the bottom left of this page.

Wendy of Cacharel  yet to be presented at a Keuring (Lammert Pref. x Tsjerk Pref.) bred and owned by Cacharel Friesians.

Wendy is an exceptional filly and we fully expect she will carrying on the Cacharel traditional and do us proud at the 2011 Keuring. Wendy is a full sister to Nikkitta of Cacharel.

Nikkitta of Cacharel  Ster Mare  (Lammert Pref. x Tsjerk Pref.) bred and owned by Cacharel Friesians.

Nikki was a 1st premie filly in 2006 and went on to be awarded the coveted 'Ster' predicate by the KFPS in 2009. Nikki was also Queensland Keuring Champion in 2006 and 2009.

Jaeger of Cacharel Studbook Gelding (Abel x Tsjerk Pref.) bred by Cacharel Friesians, owned by Ridgellea Friesians (NZ).

Jaeger's pet name when he was with us was 'Micky'. People kept calling him Jagger instead of Jaeger so he got called 'Mick Jagger' on occasion (maybe something to do with the lips?) which became 'Micky'. We are please to see his new owners kept his name and he is known around the driving circuits of New Zealand as 'MICKY'. Micky was a 2nd premie foal at nine weeks of age and was entered into the Studbook at the 2006 Keuring.

You may have seen him competing at carriage competitions in New Zealand or more likely on the big screen in Chronicles of Narnia The Caspian Prince. Micky was one of the lead horses.

Ynskje B  Ster Mare  (Tsjerk Pref. x Jelmer) owned by Cacharel Friesians.

Ynskje came to us in 2002 as a three year old with the help of Old Corner Stables (NL). Ynskje was awarded the 'Ster' predicate by the KFPS in 2006 and produced some stunning babies (Jaeger, Nikki, Wendy). She is once again in foal to Lammert and all being well we expect to see her foal on the ground late December 2010. This is a repeat breeding of Nikki and Wendy.

Renske fan e Olde Hoek  Ster Mare  (Jakob x Doeke) owned by Cacharel Friesians (deceased).

Renske was bred by our good friends at Old Corner Stables NL (Weibe, Ria and Joca van der Veen) and came to us in 1998 as a weanling. Renske was an exceptional girl both in quality and temperament, she was awarded the 'Ster' predicate by the KFPS in 2000. She was in foal at the time, carrying Django of Cacharel.
