The high percentage of Preferent (preferential) Mares and
Stallions in Kiora's pedigree is an excellent indication of the quality of this
filly's breeding. Preferent status is only awarded to a very small number of
Friesians throughout the world who have demonstrated a consistent superior
quality of offspring. Whilst Cacharel Friesians is quite a small Stud we have
consistently shown the quality of our breeding and the ability to select only
the best imported mares for our foundation stock. Success at the tri-annual and
now bi-annual Australian Keurings are arguably the most credible indicator of
the quality of the Friesian. Your Friesian horse is evaluated and assessed by
some of the most knowledgeable people in the Dutch Studbook (KFPS) flown to
Australia specifically for the task. Cacharel Keuring results are confirmation
of the quality and correctness of our Friesians, putting Cacharel at the
forefront of Friesian Breeders nationally since the inaugural Keuring in 2000.
